Popular architecture
One of the most interesting as well as one of the most unknown aspects of the area’s ethnographic heritage is the agrarian house, which is strange in a region where rural life has been historically dominant. The house, its form, the distribution of its rooms and its construction features are all direct evidence of the way of life which has shaped the local culture and which forms an important part of Orxetan history.
Cinematógrafo Ideal.
El Cine Ideal data de mediados del siglo XX, aproximadamente de la década de los años sesenta, y ha sido testigo de muchos acontecimientos culturales vinculados al pueblo de Orxeta, hasta su cierre en los años ochenta.
El edificio mantiene las características ornamentales y constructivas de la época, incluso en su interior se conserva gran parte del mobiliario (salvo el patio de butacas) y de la maquinaria utilizada, destacando ante todo el proyector de películas original, en perfecto estado de conservación.
