Photographs

The important graphic information that photographs contain has allowed the study of different aspects of the economic, social, cultural and daily life from the end of the 19th century. Back then photography required large cameras with glass photographic plates. Photography became very popular from the first decades of the 20th century up until the present day, thanks mainly due to the introduction of film and the handheld camera.
