Maps and plans

The task of cataloguing, classifying and identifying Orxeta’s cultural building heritage has been aided by the discovery of a number of ancient plans. These have provided an invaluable chronological framework which has also enabled the recovery of a large number of local toponyms (place names), which had been forgotten with the passing of time. Furthermore, they have helped the reconstruction of the different areas which made up the historical urban centre and its development until the present day.
