Fish

Fish (from the Latin piscis) are water-dwelling vertebrates which breathe using gills and have small wing-like fins which propel them and maintain them in the water. The skin, apart from a few rare cases, is protected by scales and the majority of fish reproduce by laying eggs (oviparous).
