Cultivation and livestock rearing

Agriculture has been, from time immemorial, the main economic activity of the La Marina Baixa region, and the complex relations between the farmers and their physical surroundings to obtain a yield (at least a diverse and sufficient return) through farming, has left its mark on the land.
