Birds

Birds (from the latin avis) are vertebrate animals, which lay eggs (oviparous), breathe using lungs and are warm-blooded. Their bodies are covered in feathers and they have a bony beak, two feet and two wings which are normally adapted for flight. In the embryonic stage the embryo contains amnions and allantoids.
