Rivers, Streams and Reservoirs

The hydrographic network is headed by the river or the Amadori Vila, which in turn is formed by the confluence of the rivers Sella and Relleu. Born in Monferri of the gorge on the border between Tower and Penàguila Maçanes them, about 1000 meters above sea level.

In his journey to collect water from the gullies Canaleta of Taula, dels Escuders of Furrow, of Bortolons, La Pedrera, the cave on his left side while on the right receives the waters of the gorges of Sella and Xarques, north of Puig Campana.

Track of 28 kilometers in length, covering a distance of 207 km² and leads, through a guided step by the city of Vila Joiosa at sea. Among the terms of Orxeta and Vila are Joiosa impoundment of Amadori, built in 1949 to retain approximately 12.6 million m³ of water.
