This communication channel has been created with two main purposes.
Firstly it aims to offer a quick, efficient and easy to follow information service to the local people, creating a direct communication link with the local government and its daily business.
In this way, through the page "Public Services", the user can easily navigate between a wide range of different sections, consulting different aspects of the municipal's administration, downloading documents, carrying our simple applications, finding out information on the latest events in the local and regional area, accessing the Cultural and Sports Diaries, etc..., all of which will be continually added to as the Site is updated.
Secondly, on the "Tourism" page, we would like to provide the prospective visitor with a clear image of what Orxeta represents and has to offer, as a quality tourist destination in continuous growth over the last few years.
Here we are offering a "Virtual Journey", organised into different thematic sections, where the visitor will be able to discover different aspects of Orxeta's culture: its history, natural environment, cultural heritage, fiestas, gastronomy, sports etc.... The information provided will be up to date, educational and easily understood by everyone.
This page will also perfectly complement the "Virtual Museum" page where Orxeta's heritage will be fully explained. This will provide a more in-depth perspective examining all of Orxeta's heritage whether it is natural, ethnographic, archaeological, historical or documental, in detail. The information will be made available to download and print.
