The development of Information and Communication technologies, and especially the internet and the World Wide Web, are tools that can enable Public Institutions to manage its public services and resources more efficiently and more effectively.

“Servicios al Ciudadano” (Public Services) is an independent project within Orxeta Council’s official Web Site that aims to incorporate the principles of on-line administration for use within local government.

The interactive service, which provides information to the local people, aims to make the public access to municipal events and activities easier and, to make the information on local government policies clearer which will enable the public to  manage and carry out various services via the internet.
